You may try http://www.zamzar.com , it’s a nice free online converter that can save myspace video to computer.
if you use firefox you can download a toolbar called ant toolbar. It will download flash video files to your computer.
Then go download a dlash video player from adobe.com
You can try liteCam, I’ve been using it for few months to record YouTube videos and pretty happy with it. I’ve tried several programs, and it works the best for recording short (5-20 minutes) streaming videos.
They have 30 days trial as well.
