   I find the download option in Real Player only works if you are viewing the video in IE. The video has to be actually running for the download prompt to come up

   I never used realplayer, but Tunebite, it can download videos from myspace and also if you need to convert them to other formats like avi or even 3gp, Tunebite is the one. Really like it, because it converts the files with quality and at high speed. It has many other features, it download videos from other music sites also, as youtube, google video and many other, it even records movies from hulu and other streaming online movie sites.
   But if you need just to download and convert videos clips from myspace or let’s say youtube, there is a free version with no limitation for downloading and converting files. But if you want tunebite as a hulu downloader, then you should buy the full version. I use this last version because it’s very useful and I have now all the movies I want.
