I backup my facebook profile on teasker.com, and had to restore it once. It did restore everything, but some of my friends were missing from the list of friends. But overall, it did help me a lot to restore my account. By the way, if your account has been disabled by myspace, then teaker won't restore to the same account name, and you'd have to choose a similar account name rather than exact last one you had.
Those videos instruct you to backup your account from mypace and facebook. But then restoring it is up to you. I lost my myspace account, but luckily I had backed it up. So, it took me only a few hours to create a new account and restore all that I had backed up. You lose stuff like your friends list though.
That's about it; there is no other way. I was looking for a way to backup my Facebook, and Bebo accounts, but found nothing except what you have. So, just use what is available.
Actually if you Google around, you'll find a few companies who do this for you for free. A couple of them I think are wapcare.com and teasker.com. My friend uses Teasker.com; he uses it for backing up his linkedin account. He is pretty satisfied with their backup for Linkedin, but I don't know how good their backup is for Myspace, and Facebook.
